We head to Launceston for a good nine-event card where the junior drivers take centre stage with the final three heats of the Youngblood Series and they promise to be three very competitive races where Sam Clotworthy will be looking to build on his lead and keep his other rivals at bay.
We have two heats of the Tassie Golden Apple where Ignatius and Ryley Major will be looking to overcome the 30m back marks in their respective heats, but it won’t be easy over the shorter trip of 2200m.
Proficient looks a good each-way gamble in race seven drawing to get a soft trip. Blundell goes around in race two and he can also give a sight at nice odds.
Ignatius looks the best of the night but will be short odds.
