WELL related gelding Not Another Red (Magic Albert-Red Centre) resumes from a spell in a modest class one handicap over 1100 metres at Tattersall’s Park today for what should be a wining return to racing.

Not Another Red showed an abundance of talent when last in work  beginning with a first-up win in a maiden in Launceston after which he twice finished fifth before ending his campaign with a game third behind smart sprinter Straight Shot in a class one over 1000 metres in Hobart in December last year.

The Charlie Goggin and Luella Meaburn-trained three-year-old has been to the trials twice for a third in late February and a win four weeks ago in Hobart over 900 metres scoring by almost three lengths.

Connections expect the gelding to produce multiple wins this preparation and given the lack of depth of the opposition today he gets the chance to make a winning return.

Enshroud also returns from a spell and her form when last in work was good enough to suggest she will make her presence felt while Hotham Street has had one run back from a spell and is capable of placing along with Top End Of Town that won first-up last preparation.
