THE Russell Watts-trained young greyhound Jeff The Tipster should get punters off to a flying start at The TOTE Racing Centre in Launceston tonight.

Jeff The Tipster has had only two starts for wins in juvenile grade at Devonport and Hobart so he only needs this win to close his juvenile account and he would only need to mirror his efforts at his only two previous outings to realise the goal.

Hold On Coupe (Eileen Thomas) looks the main threat so go strong on the quinella.

Funky Moss, trained at Bagdad by Alison Walker, looks the one to beat in race four.   Her recent form is consistent and her last start second here was a good effort behind the brilliant She’s All Class that went close to breaking Bergermeister’s track record in Hobart last Thursday night.

Her main danger appears to be Action Bolt trained by her father Rodney Walker.

China Lady will fully test Terror Time (Rodney Walker) in race five and that too looks to be one of the best quinellas on the 10-race card.

The best bet is the Debbie Cannan prepared Emerald Lee in race seven. She won well on this track last week then saluted again at Devonport last Tuesday.

One of the better value runners on the program appears in race 10 in the form of the Larry Tanner-trained Norwest Maggie as she will appreciate drawing an inside box.
