LIGHTLY raced pup Wynburn Chaos delivered a message that he may have the ability to win multiple races by scoring a decisive win in a juvenile race over 461 metres at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart on Thursday night.

Wynburn Chaos (Collide-Hayley’s Gift) began fairly from box seven to settled second behind Buckle Up Miska that flew the lids wearing the red vest to lead comfortably to the top turn.

Buckle Up Miska looked to be travelling like a winner turning for home but when Wynburn Chaos slipped into overdrive he quickly put the end result beyond doubt.

The Ben Englund-trained dog hit the front and burst clear to go on and score by just over six lengths from Kalaway Knocka with the race leader hanging on for third.

The time of 26.62 wasn’t flash but the splits of 5.20 and 11.39 suggests the best part of his win was the run home.

The winner showed good track sense to find a clear path to the lead and his exceptional turn of foot midrace is a valuable asset.

he was whelped in April 2012 so he has plenty of time to win his juveniles at Devonport and Launceston.

England, who trains at Burnie, doesn’t have a lot of dogs in work but he too may have a bright future in the game.
