Brighton trainer Brenan Pursell has a strong hand at the Devonport meeting this afternoon. Limbo Maid (R2) will give a big sight and box one is a big plus.

This daughter of Lonesome Cry has had just the two starts here and is yet to record a placing but has been racing well in Hobart. Lake Hylia is the hardest to beat with Julia Fly’s for the multiples. Alonnah (R3) has a good overall record and box seven will pose no problems. Lou James from box one is the main danger.

Despicable Matt (R6) looks to made it a treble for the Pursell kennel while Mason Pines and Steelo’s Magic will provide stiff opposition.
Club Foot (R7) has box seven and will be a strong contender while Flash Innings looks the early leader and will take running down.
