IT was a case of first out and first home for the Rod Ransley-trained Glamour Gas in a juvenile event over 461 metres at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart last night.
Glamour Gas began brilliantly from box one and maintained the lead to the top turn and when she wheeled into the home straight she sped clear and had a generous margin to spare on the line over Simpsons Bay and Prince Solo.
Glamour Gas notched her first win in the state three starts back from box five and followed up with two handy placings.
But from the coveted inside alley she made the most of the favourable draw to warrant being sent out a short-priced favourite ($1.70.
The former Victorian debuted with a win at Bendigo in June and was dispatched to Ransley’s kennels in Brighton soon after.
From 10 starts in Tasmania she has notched two win and five minor placings.
