Jason Maskiell foregoes rides due to injury

TOP jockey Jason Maskiell has been forced to forego his rides at Tapeta Park Spreyton on Sunday due to an injury he sustained in a trackwork fall at Spreyton last Tuesday.

Maskiell had rides in Melbourne on Wednesday that he met but according to Tasmanian Chief Steward Wade Hadley the rider pulled up extremely sore after those rides.

Maskiell is suffereing from severe back.

Replacement riders will be sought and can be seen on the tasracing website under form guides in the Thoroughbred section.
