BRIGHTON trainer Terry Evans has called on long-time friend and class jockey Dwayne Dunn to partner his exciting two-year-old Sky of Stars in the $100,000 Elwick Stakes at Tattersall’s Park.

Sky of Stars won on debut in Hobart two weeks ago and this morning Evans sent him around the inside rack at Tattersall’s Park with a mare in preparation for the Elwick Stakes next Monday.

“The horse pulled up really well from his debut win and today he’s done everything I expected of him in the grass gallop,” Evans said.

Dunn also has been engaged to ride Evans’ three-year-old filly Crib Point in the $100,000 Strutt Stakes on Cup day and trainer John Blacker has secured the rider’s services for The Producer in the $100,000 weight-for-age Thomas Lyons over 1400m.
