TALENTED young dog Knox and Rattles will be aiming to register a hat trick of wins when he steps out in a grade four event over 515 metres at The TOTE Racing Centre in Launceston tonight.

Knox and Rattles, prepared at Richmond by Nicholas Howard, has been impressive in winning at his two most recent outings and only needs to step cleanly from box one tonight to make it three wins in succession.

The dog impressive in winning his juvenile at Devonport prior to scoring another impressive win in a grade five race over 515 metres in Launceston last week.

From box one he should either lead or get a charmed run through the race and if he finishes like he has at his recent starts the picket fence alongside his name in the race form guides will be extended.

The classy Prescribe looms as the logical danger but he is suspect from box six, although if he began well the Ted Medhurst-trained dog would most likely win as he is a very classy sprinter when he doesn’t miss th4 start like he did in the Breeders Classic final that was won by his kennel mate Hey Franklin.

Half Century (4) and last start Launceston winner Loopy Lucy are worthy of consideration.
