TALENTED three-year-old pacer Jerrys Jet proved again why he is ranked one of the brightest harness racing prospects in Tasmania with an effortless win in a 3C1-C0 over 2090 metres at UBET Park in Hobart tonight.
Jerrys Jet began well from gate f=two and had no trouble finding the lead and once settled he cruised to the home turn the last time before letting rip in the home straight to score by almost 15 metres.
With his trainer Rohan Hillier in the sulky, the gelded son of Jeremes Jet scored from last Flight In with Blackjackhanover over four metres away third.
Jerrys Jet was last season’s top two-year-old when in the care of Paul Hill but he was transferred to Hillier’s stable earlier this year.
He resumed with an emphatic win in Hobart two weeks ago and was expected to contest the Tasmanian Guineas last night but the race was scrapped owing to insufficient nominations.
Listen to what trainer Rohan Hillier had to say about Jerrys Jet’s latest win and what is planned for the gelding.
