Queensland pair Glen Gallon and Tarlie’s Angel flew to Hobart yesterday and trialed at Hobart’s Tattersall’s Park last night.
Tarlie’s Angel trialed from the 599 metre boxes and ran 35.19, with splits of 5.31, 12.94 and 19.48.
The trial was only modest for a dog of her class, but on a cool evening it is believed she cramped.
She will take great benefit from her first look at the track.
On the other hand, the mighty Glen Gallon trialed brilliantly over the 461 metres.
He ran a quick 26.06, railed hard and ran solid splits of 5.24 and 11.34.
He is certain to be a major force come game day.
