PROMISING three-year-old filly Seajamm looms as one of the best bets on the seven-event program at Spreyton today.
Seajamm, prepared at Longford by John Blacker, has had only three lifetime starts for two wins, the latest a brilliant first-up victory on the synthetic at Devonport last Friday week.
Today she goes up in grade to a class two but given the ease with which she dispensed with her opposition last start she should again deliver the goods.
Court Candel looms as the likely leader from barrier one and while a shade disappointing last start she scored an impressive win in Hobart at her previous outing at the same venue and she has a placing behind King’s Spirit on the synthetic.
Blacker is six wins behind reigning premier trainer Scott Brunton but the Longford-based mentor can edge closer today as he also has genuine winning chances in Blaze Forth in race three and Arras in race five.
