BRIGHTON thoroughbred trainer Paul Maher will take four of his team to UBET Park Hobart tomorrow and he is hoping to leave the track with at least one winner.

Maher rates his gallant mare Grey Gown as his best winning hope although he believes Sentry Duty and maiden performer Angie Sparkles also are in winnable races while Foxtrots has drawn another horror barrier (13) and might be struggling to make a top three finish.

Maher says Grey Gown will appreciate dropping way down in class as she has been very competitive in much tougher grade with placings behind Geegees Goldengirl, Frolicked and Royal Rapture.

Grey Gown is drawn wide tomorrow but Maher says it won’t matter as the mare usually gets back early in her races.

Sentry Duty needed the run when a first-up fourth in Hobart about three weeks ago.
