We back up from a successful meeting last week in which we saw an emotional win in the Hobart Pacing Cup by Remember Joe. Finn Mac Kee was also a very impressive winner of the other feature on the night the Eric Reece Memorial. The Majority continued his great form by taking out the St Mary’s Cup on New Year’s Day.

RACE 1 : 6:00pm UBET PACE 2090M
This is a C0 to kick off the night’s racing. WITCH MASTER (12) has been racing very well and he will find this easier than recent runs. He draws out the back so he will need to get the trip into race but if does he is the one to beat. JETCRAFT (1) done plenty of work last start he draws ideally and is the leader so is sure to get every chance to breakthrough. BLACKJACKHANOVER (3) draws well and will settle handy so has to be included as he too will find this easier. MARAVILLOSO (7) has been racing well so if he can overcome the wide draw has a hope at odds. NEVER UNACHIEVABLE (10) has shown ability in his three runs to date so is one at odds that can run a race. UPWARDLY (2) , NOTE WORTHY LOMBO (4) , ERCOLE (5) , PERFECT PAIGE (6) and UCARNBEATAMINT (9) are all capable of sneaking a place at odds.

RACE 2 : 6:34pm RASSYS BIG GIRL PACE 2090M
This is a very good C1 only. KYLEASHA (5) has been very good at her past two starts after doing plenty of work in the run. She will have to do the work again here but is sure to take plenty of beating. FOLLOWTHEWIND (2) was a good winner in where she was able to lead throughout. She draws to advantage again here so if she can find the top will take running down. ZUMBA BROMAC (11) was beaten at short last week after doing a bit of work in the run. She will be hoping to get a cart into the race and will be finishing strongly. ALPINION (1) was very good last start from a poor draw. He draws the pole so has to be included in the chances. MARTYS FOR REAL (10) is racing well so if can get the right trip into race will run a race at odds. JUST LIKE ELLE (4) , THATSWHATSHESAID (6) , ME MATE LES (7) , JOHN SNOW (8) and ONE MANS PASS (9) are all more than capable of causing an upset with the right runs.
TOP PICK : KYLEASHA (5) will be the hardest to beat.

RACE 3 : 7:04pm MY SIR DUKE CLAIMER PACE 2090M
This is the claimer for the night. PHILTRA FELLA (7) will appreciate the drop back to this grade after from taking on the Hobart Pacing Cup last week. He has drawn wide but is capable of making his own luck so is the hardest to beat. MY GREEK MATE (8) is suited back to the mobile conditions so if he can get a trip into the race will taking holding out. RAJAH WEALTH (5) will find this easier than last start and draws well. He should be able to settle handy so will get his chance. SKY TOWER (3) should be able to find the top and does grow a leg when he does so will pay to keep safe. PACIFIC SOUL (6) hit the line strongly last week. This is a bit stronger but he can run into a place. OUR ARCHANGEL (2) is an opportunist drawn to get the right run so can cause an upset.
TOP PICK : PHILTRA FELLA (7) is the one to beat.

RACE 4 : 7:35pm SKY VALLEY PACE 1609M
This is a very open C2 over the mile. LAFORCE (10) has been racing very well of late. She draws out the back she should get a get a good cart into the race so will take plenty of holding out. ORIGIN BILLY (9) draws to get a good run through and he was impressive two runs back. This is a little stronger but if his close enough he will in the finish. JEAN BAPTISTE (1) has been racing well and draws to advantage here as he look’s the leader and will take catching over the mile. UNION FORCE (5) was racing well before his last start failure. He draws a touch wide but if he can get into the race he will be thereabouts. BYMARJAC (2) , SCRUFFY JAKE (3) and STRANGE CONDUCT (7) can all sneak a minor place.
TOP PICK : ORIGIN BILLY (9) is a good each way gamble.

RACE 5 : 8:09pm ALBERT PACE 2090M
This will be a very competitive C3/C4. HIGHVIEW CHRISTINA (10) has been racing in career best form. She will be looking to get a good run through so she can get around the field early so will take beating. HAPPY SCHNAPPS (5) is another in career best form. He will need to try and get across early as he races much better in front so has to be kept very safe. NO SPRING SECRETS (12) was driven to aggressively last start and knocked up late. He is a pretty smart type so if they drive him with a sit tonight can get over the top of them. OUR SPUNKY MONKEY (6) is another inform pacer. He will have to push forward early and look to get in so if he does will be thereabouts. MIGHTY JASPER (2) , NITRO BLUE (4) , METRO DIGBY (8) and PUNT ROAD DISCO (9) are all capable of running into a place at odds.
TOP PICK : HIGHVIEW CHRISTINA (10) is well place so is the one to beat.

RACE 6 : 8:40pm BUDDY PACE 2090M
This is the free for all for the night. BARYNYA (6) is a very classy who was a good winner of the George Johnson last time. She will be even fitter here so is clearly the hardest to beat. REMEMBER JOE (4) won the Hobart Pacing Cup last week in which was a career high. He looks like his back to his best so if can find the top here he will take plenty of catching. RESURGENT SPIRIT (1) was brave after doing all the work in the above mentioned race. He draws the pole here so will get every chance to bounce back. ALL I CAN BE (5) will find this easier than taking on the top grade of late. He is a handy sit/sprinter that can figure with the right trip. DAMITSAM (2) , VANDE VELDE (3) and OUR CHAIN OF COMMAND (7) are all capable of being in the finish with the right trips.
TOP PICK : BARYNYA (6) is the hardest to beat.

RACE 7 : 9:12pm PETER PAN PACE 2090M
This is lowest points division of the C1 and a very tricky race to access. SWEET KISSES (3) won well two runs back leading throughout. She will push forward and if can find the top will take running down. Stablemate BAD BOY HUGHIE (1) has drawn to advantage so if he can hold up early he is sure to be a major player. REBEL DIAMOND (10) was ok last week. She will find this a bit stronger but with that runner under her belt can be a danger. ODINS CALL GIRL (2) has a bit of gate speed so can push through early and of she finds the top can run a race at odds. DO IT FOR DAVE (4) and ANOTHERMETRO (5) are both going ok so are sneaky hopes with the right trip. MY MATE NICK (8) and RAINBOW PHOENIX (9) are next best.

RACE 8 : 9:40pm TOUGHEN UP PACE 2090M
This is the last of the night and I do hope the punters are in front by now. There is no winning form to really recommend. ALTUGO FRANCO (9) will be better for his first run for the new stable. He draws to get a good run through so has to be given another chance. OUTLAW (5) was ok last week nut he did get the gun run. He will find this a little easier so has to be included. ARTILLERY FIRE (6) has been hitting the line ok at past couple so if he can get the right trip into the can figure. CEE CEE SAFARI (2) was ok last start when trapped wide. This is best draw for a while so can improve. SWEET PEA JASPER (3) will find this and expect her to improve. JUST STOPANDSTARE (1) and REALLY FAYFAY (8) draw to get cheap runs so can be thereabouts.
