STAR Tasmanian mare Lady Lynette will race for the last time at Moonee Valley on Friday night in the $200,000 Sunline Stakes..

The David and Scott Brunton-trained mare became only the third Tasmanian-owned horse, after Sydeston and El Mirada, to top $1 million in prizemoney when she finished just out of a place in the Myer Classic at Flemington on Melbourne Cup day last year.

The mare ended her Tasmanian campaign with a brilliant last-stride win in the Listed Vamos Stakes in Launceston last month.

Lady Lynette, that has won 14 and placed 17 times from 48 starts for stakes of $1,098,633, is catalogued for sale at the Inglis Australian Easter Broodmare sale in Sydney on April 10.
