This is the lowest points division of the C1. THREESTONES (2) will find this easier than recent outings and has drawn to advantage. He will be hoping to find the top so then from there will get every chance. ROBERT MOREAU (1) is another drawn well so if he can make the most of it he is sure to be thereabouts. BILLY KHAN (8) has been good at his past two starts so if he can get the right trip has to be included. WARRIOR MAC (4) is resuming from a good break and gets into a winnable race. He will be looking to get the trip and if he does can win. PERFECT PAIGE (3) , IM DENS BOY (5) , KIRBYELLE (6) and OUTLAW (7) are all capable of winning this if the breaks come their way.

RACE 2 : 7:24pm SCOTT BACON PACE 2090M
This is a pretty good C2/C3. TALES OF THE CITY (1) was beaten as favourite last start when had to do plenty of work. He draws ideally here as should be able to hold up so from there will take running down. LAFORCE (6) was well placed last start and won by a big space. She draws a touch wide but can sprint quickly so is sure to be a danger. MIGHTY JASPER (11) was resuming for new stable when he hit the line strongly. He draws out the back but if he can get the right trip into the race will be finishing hard. LA EBONY KITA (8) has been racing ok and draws to get a cheap trip so is a must for the exotics. COMEON HOWZAT (3) has been thereabouts of late at good odds. He will go around at odds again and has to be included. NITRO BLUE (2) draws much better so expect him to improve so keep safe at odds. GRINABLE (5), BERTILS DELIGHT (7) and SUTTER MAN (10) are all capable of filling a place at odds.
TOP PICK : TALES OF THE CITY (1) is the one to beat but not if at short odds.

RACE 3 : 7:54pm ALLEN WILLIAMS MEMEORIAL HEAT THREE 2090M
This is the third heat of the Allen Williams Memorial. DUCTAPE (6) was a very handy two year old who resumes as a three year old. He ran some good races in good company last time in so despite the wide draw is sure to take plenty of beating. MARAVILLOSO (3) will be hoping to zoom to the top as that’s where he races best so will pay to keep safe. PENNY WILL PLAY (1) has been behind the money at her runs to date. She resumes from a good draw so has to be given a hope. AINSLEYS DREAM (2) was good on debut then finished down the track at next two runs. She resumes here from a handy draw so can run a race at odds. BRUSH WITH DANGER (4) and MARNU THE BEAST (8) have both showed enough in career to date to be added to the exotics placings. RIP ROCKIN RIOLI (5) and WAR CHEST (7) are both debutantes so may pay to watch the market.

This is the three year olds and CO pacers. ORIGIN CRONK (9) is a handy three year old who has been freshened up. He resumes here from a good trailing draw so should settle handy and is sure to take plenty of holding out. WITCH MASTER (7) continues to run good races but is yet to breakthrough. He has drawn wide so if gets the right trip is sure to be a major player. STREETSIDE CLASSIC (2) hit the line strongly when resuming. He should strip even fitter and draws to advantage so will be right in the finish. JOAN GRANT (4) had no luck last start when trapped wide. She draws ok here so expect her to be thereabouts with the right trip. BE GOOD FRANKLIN (5) and JOHN PRESTON (8) are next best.

RACE 5 : 8:58pm CAROL BROWN PACE 1609M
This is a very tough C4/C5. BRAVO CHARLIE (1) has been racing well on the Country Cups circuit this season. He draws to advantage over the short trip so is sure to take plenty of beating. NEVER SIGHTED (8) comes here with a very good record and has ran some very quick times when winning. She draws to follow out the likely leader so has to be kept very safe at her Tasmanian debut. OUR SPUNKY MONKEY (4) won three on end not that long ago. He has shown can do work in his races so if got outside the leader will run a race. WATCH THIS SPOT (3) has been very disappointing of late so place looks best. LE PREMIERE (6) hit the line well start, so if gets a similar trip here is a must for the exotics. IN HOUSE (2) and FARAWAY MAN (7) are next best.
TOP PICK : BRAVO CHARLIE (1) will be hard to beat.

This is the highest points division of the C1. JUST LIKE ELLE (7) is racing in career best form. She draws outside the front row so with any luck at all will take plenty of beating. SCRUFFY JAKE (3) battled away well last start after sitting parked. He draws well again so is a leading chance. FAITHFUL JET (2) hasn’t had the best of luck lately. He has drawn to be handy throughout so will take plenty of holding out. REBEL DIAMOND (5) has been going ok from awkward draws. She draws a touch tricky again but if she gets the right trip can be dangerous. SIGN OF ORO (6) was driven a treat to win last week at Burnie. He is an opportunist so if gets the right run can win again. BERTILS BLISS (4) and ALTUGO FRANCO (8) are next best.
TOP PICK : JUST LIKE ELLE (7) looks a good gamble.

This is the claimer for the night. WESTERN KARAMEA (5) was very impressive when winning last week’s claimer. He will find this no harder so there is no reason why he can’t go back to back. PHILTRA FELLA (6) was favourite in that race when was beaten fair and square. He is a tough type so if they decide to put him in the race early will take plenty of beating. LUCKY DAVE (1) and SKY TOWER (3) got into a war at their latest start when drew similar so tactics will be very crucial early as if LUCKY DAVE (1) gets a soft trip can give some cheek. PACIFIC SOUL (4) continues to race well so if gets the right trip can figure. MELPARK MAESTRO (2) will be fitter for his first run back and at his best would be up to winning.

This is the last of the night. SAMMY SEEELSTER (2) has been impressive winning both his starts since arriving to Tasmania. He draws to find the top again here and the likelihood of no pressure he is sure to be the hardest to beat. ME MATE LES (1) draws to get the run he likes so if gets a crack at them will be the danger. WEALTHY WARRIOR (3) is a stable mate of the likely favourite so may push forward early and sit parked so place look’s best. ORIGIN BILLY (5) was very impressive winning first up. He has been disappointing since but is suited by the small field so keep safe. ARTILLERY FIRE (6) has been around the mark of late so is sure to be finishing the race off well so is a must include in the exotics. THE SYSTEM VILLAGE (4) is also capable of running a drum at odds.
