STAR Tasmanian thoroughbred filly Hot Dipped has travelled well to Melbourne and is in top order as she prepares for her biggest test in the Group 2 $200,000 Sires Produce Stakes over 1400 metres at Flemington on Saturday.
Hot Dipped is unbeaten from three starts with her past two in feature races.
She won the 2YO Tasmanian Magic Millions Classic in Launceston before scoring an effortless win in the $100,000 Listed Gold Sovereign Stakes at the same venue on Launceston Cup day.
Her trainer Brendan McShane made the decision to send her to Melbourne initially for the travel experience but as she pulled up so well from her Gold Sovereign effort he entered her for the Sires Produce.
“I had a call from Aquanita stables where the filly is staying and they told me she has travelled better than any other horse I’ve sent to Melbourne so I couldn’t have hoped for better news,” McShane said,
