Shing Lee (R1) for Ted Medhurst is a speedy customer and may set up an unassailable lead here to get punters off to a flying start at UBET Park tonight. With only moderate beginners around her it appears only Tah Stella could challenge early. Having won three from fourteen this daughter of Emerald Lee should continue her consistent form. Her main opposition will come from Tah Stella and Count Baroque who was well supported last week.
Howzat Patsy (R2) won a strong grade three on Tuesday at Devonport and loves the inside and should be hard to hold out from the red. Archie Ninkasi resumed in Launceston last week but got dragged down approaching the turn and could be a good quinella while Go Minnie Go is in good form but will need the speed to cross early.
Vee’s Assassin (R6) should be first into the HGRC Maiden Series Final jumping from the red and should finally break its “maiden” status. Dilston Toto my need this week’s run after a spell but should qualify, while Bounding Boomer is consistent and could run into a place at odds.
