THE outcome of the eight heats of the O’Driscoll Coaches Series for grade five chasers at Tattersall’s Park last night has presented the Hobart Greyhound Racing Club with a sensational line-up for next week’s final.

The Mick Stringer kennel will have two in the final in Painted Amigo and Ryno Rules with Painted Amigo registering the equal fastest time of the eight heat winners.

Painted Amigo, a son of Scull Murphy-Painted Shaza, began well from box one and once clear of the pack he bounded away and went on to score by almost a length from the very game Regent Reign with the winner clocking a time of 26.14s that was clearly the best.

Ryno Rules almost replicated the effort of his kennel mate by taking full advantage of the inside box and he hit the line over six lengths clear of his rivals and in a time of 26.35s.

The Leigh Wood-trained Bo Shen won her heat with a powerful display, scoring by over four lengths from the heavily backed decibel in a time of 26.70s.

Wood also will have two finalists courtesy of a brilliant heat win by Three Tradies that came from last to score a runaway win in a time of 26.47.

Other heat winners were Young Jaxon from the Anthony Bullock kennel, Adam’s Daddy, Whitney’s World and the ever improving Bel Haven.
