Pretty In Blue (R2), Ice Krystals (R5) and Pretty Pearl (R8) all look great chances in their respective races at Devonport today.

Pretty In Blue for Keith Nichols has been in rare form winning two of her last three starts at Hobart by more than ten lengths.

Last Thursday the box draw impeded her hat trick but with the coveted alley today she should get back on the winning list.

At her most recent start she ran 26.40 here and that is a little bit of a concern condsidering Spring Meika and Stylish Kim have recorded faster times recently, however on that occasion it was her first look at the track and Nichols had not trialled.

Ice Krystals trained at Mount Direction by Laurence Mulligan looks a great chance although jumping from four.

This daughter of Where’s Pedro has a 33% winning strike rate on the track and should lead from box rise today.

Samurai Kid and Whispering Blaze look the hardest to beat.

West Moonah trainer “Okker” McConnon has Pretty Pearl in the best form of her career and off the red today she should be able to stay out of trouble early and be too strong at the finish.

Her second to Denesur beaten by a head in 25.72 gives her a personal best run (25.73) and this clearly should make her a special in the last leg of the double and quadrella.

Her main opposition will come from Wynburn Diamond who will be fitter for last week’s run and reserve Peter Pines.

Tips (apart from the ladies above) : R1 No 1 Decibel, R7 No 6 King’s View and R10 No 4 Pendle Beri.
