THE Greg Fahey Distance Championship Final (R7) highlights a strong ten event card at Tattersall’s Park tonight.

Flowery Gully trainer Mick Louth has a strong hand with Sandhog and Sitka while track record holder Thirteen Black and fast beginner Common Interest also look hard to beat.

Sandhog looks the value prepost at $6, a noted railer he should position himself early and is very strong.

This son of Collide has only had six of his fifty four starts over the middle distance for three wins and three seconds including wins at Launceston, Devonport and Mandurah and he will use his bulk to hold the rail.

Thirteen Black without interference should win well but with pace on his inside he will be wide early and may strike trouble into the back as was the case last week.

Sitka has won plenty of prizemoney at Cannington over this trip and must be respected while Common Interest will be in it for a long way courtesy of her early speed.

Fisherman (R6) looks hard to catch from box 2 after last week’s return to form while Cool Avenger (R10) for Cradoc trainer Darris Fahey will be value each way in a hard race.

All gate takings tonight will be donated to Give me 5 for kids charity.

Best Bets: R3 # 2 Bank on Doom, R6 # 2 Fisherman, R7 # 1 Sandhog.

Best E/W: R1 # 7 Enchanted State, R2 # 5 Rolling Vista, R10 # 3 Cool Avenger.
