TALENTED middle distance performer Where’s Ned has run out of suitable races following his last-stride victory in a mixed grades 4-5 over 599 metres at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart last Thursday night.

Where’s Ned has now won all of his distance events through to grade four level but his trainer Tony Dawson says it’s the end of the road for the son of Where’s Pedro.

“That’s it for him because he’s won all his graded staying races and there’s none programmed beyond grade four,” Dawson said.

“I’ve thought about going interstate but I’m not sure it’s worth the effort,” he said.

Where’s Ned has been a great performer for Dawson winning 22 of his 71 starts and he also has notched 24 minor placings that has helped boost the dog’s stake earnings to almost $34,000.

“The dog has done a great job, it’s just a shame we’ve run out of suitable races,” he said.

He is from a great litter (Where’s Pedro-Stylish Dotty) that has produced multiple individual winners that have amassed over 100 wins between them.
