Howard’s Puzzle out to keep winning record intact

PROMISING young greyhound Howard’s Puzzle will be attempting to keep her unbeaten record intact when she takes on the tricky Launceston circuit fore the first time at The TOTE Racing Centre tonight.

Howard’s Puzzle has won at her only two starts and while she faces a daunting task from the squeeze box (5) tonight she remains the one to beat.

She has shown an abundance of early speed at her only two outings at Devonport and Hobart where she drew b oozes two and seven respectively.

The Len Howard-trained bitch is by Puzzle Prize from Stage Heroine and according to her trainer she has shown above average ability from day one.

She was whelped in December 2007 and has been given plenty of time to develop.

Her main dangers appear to be Winklee Wonder (2) that has two wins and seven minor placings from 11 starts with her latest win over Kialdu Anna in Hobart two starts back.
