Tasmanian stewards will make a further track inspection of the Devonport track at 9.30am today to determine whether the meeting at Spreyton can proceed as planned.
An earlier inspection of the track at 7am today found the track to be a rated a heavy 10 but safe to race, however, a further deluge at about 8am dropped another 5ml over the circuit.
Subsequent constant rain has forced stewards to make a further inspection to determine the fate of the meeting.
Chief steward Wade Hadley said the inspection will take place about 9.30am.
The outcome of that inspection will be posted on this website as soon as a final decision has been made, which is expected to be about 10am.
