Devonport host an eight race card on Sunday with the feature being the $50,000 Sheffield Cup which affords the winner ballot-free entry into the Devonport Cup on 8 January. A capacity field has assembled for the feature, but a shortage of riders in the lead-up to Christmas may potentially see some scratchings.
