PROMISING two-year-old filly Frolicked gets her chance to set up a big day at tomorrow’s Tasmanian magic Millions Yearling sale for her trainer-breeder Graeme McCulloch if she can emerge triumphant in the Magic Millions 2YO Classic over 1200 metres at The Tote Racing Centre in Launceston tonight.

Frolicked scored an impressive win on debut in Launceston three weeks ago to give her sire Incumbent his first winner since arriving to stand at McCulloch’s Grenville Stud four years ago.

Frolicked is from Incumbent’s second crop and McCulloch openly admits the second and third crops are superior to his first offerings.

Frolicked is from former 3YO Cup winner Flying Diva that has produced some very good gallopers including Kenjorwood and Uboa.

At Frolicked’s debut she raced outside of the leader but made light of the task and kicked clear 200 metres out and won well from Geegees Soprano.

Incumbent has 19 of his progeny going under the hammer tomorrow at the yearling sale, including a full sister to Frolicked that could be mistaken for her twin.

The Tasmanian Magic Millions Yearling Sale, comprising 138 lots, will be held at the Inveresk Showground complex in Launceston tomorrow (Thursday) starting at 1 pm.
