Winners well hidden in Launceston tonight

After a great night of racing and chasing last Monday when Xylia Allen smashed her own track record and set the mark at 29.09s for the 515-metre trip, punters will really be tested tonight with winners well hidden.

The first three races for juvenile greyhounds have some very promising youngsters in each field.  Hindsight (Mick Stringer) was very unlucky in Hobart Thursday and he meets Street Talk (Loretta Luttrell) and Chicka Scott (Dave Crosswell) in what should be a keenly contested first race.

Hello Scott (Margaret Rossendell) and Stylish Abbey (Robin Grubb) are resuming from spells and they look set to battle it out in race two.

Miss Kiss (Debbie Cannan), which won in Hobart Thursday, Kiss Me Elvis (Robin Grubb) and Tic Tac Thomas (Peter Dalton) are all capable of winning race three.

The main event (race six) should see the consistent Tadmore Dunoon (Ted Medhurst) be too good for the opposition.

After winning the Launceston Cup Consolation last start the Debbie Cannan trained Parisette looks the best bet on the card.

She landed some very big wagers last week. Her main danger tonight appears to be Franklin Bluboy (Margaret Rossendell).

The value bet arrives in race four in the form of Yemuh from the Butch Deverell kennel. His most recent effort at Devonport was a big improvement and he won’t find an easier field than what he meets tonight.
