The first of two Tasmanian thoroughbred meetings this week is held in Launceston on Wednesday night with a nine-race program.
The rail is in the 11m position from the 1200m mark to the winning post which has restricted field sizes from all starting points but particularly the 1120m and 2150m where a maximum of eight will face the starter.
It’s a good looking night of racing and the highlight for me is a very deep class 1 (race 3) where I think the majority of the field will win multiple races throughout their careers.
