Voting in this year’s All-Star Mile will close at midnight AEDT this Sunday, 16 February.

Following the withdrawal of inaugural All-Star Mile winner Mystic Journey last month, Tasmania’s sole nominee is the Scott Brunton-trained Mandela Effect, the winner of last Sunday’s Listed Thomas Lyons in Hobart.

Mandela Effect currently sits in effectively 15th place on the All-Star Mile voting leaderboard, with the top 10 guaranteed a place in the $5,000,000 race to be run at Caulfield on 14 March.

Five wildcard spots will be granted to make up the final field of 15 which at this stage appears to be Mandela Effect’s best chance of gaining entry into the race given he currently sits over 2000 votes outside the top 10.

There is plenty of incentive to vote though, with a surge in votes a chance to sway the likelihood of a wildcard as well as the opportunity to win a $5,000 VIP package for two to attend the race.

Head to allstarmile.tasracing.com.au and simply send confirmation of your vote for Mandela Effect (or prior Mystic Journey vote) to have the chance to win the great prize which will be won regardless of whether or not Tasmanian have a representative in the race.

Make sure you vote and share with your friends before the deadline closes to give Tasmania the chance to make it two from two in the world’s richest 1600 metre race.
