FORMER harness trainer Brian Shipp has had his share of success since moving to greyhounds and one of his kennel tenants Brumby Bomber looms as one of the top chances to win the Invitation at The TOTE Racing Centre in Launceston tonight.

Brumby Bomber won from box one last start but will find the going tougher from box five tonight.

Galtee Again and Pendle Beri from the David Crosswell kennel at Bishopsbourne are racing well and despite awkward box draws are winning chances. Hellyeah Stella is due to break through forExetertrainer Anthony Bullock and should figure in the finish.

The best bet on a tough 10-race card appears to be Palooka in race two from the Butch Deverell kennel at Penguin.

Palooka had no luck last start when he was heavily supported in much stronger company.

His main danger may be Technology (Joan Nichols) which appeared all at sea at his first start on the track last week but is a likely improver.

The value bet is Dasher Dooley in race four. Trained at Bracknell by veteran Morrie Strickland he will appreciate the box draw and the drop in opposition.
