DEBBIE CANNAN is a talented trainer in her own right with a Group 1 Australian Cup in her trophy cabinet testament to her ability.
Last year she not only trained her share of winners she also snared the leading owner title for 2014.
The award is determined on the number of races won by an individual or partnership during the year.
Cannan clearly won the award with 82 wins derived from 22 individual winners.
Her best performers were Mystic Falls and Real Caution that won nine each.
Mystic Falls captured the prestigious Hobart Maiden Thousand final, a heat of the Furniture City Gift and a heat and final of the Betfair Easter Cup in Hobart.
Mystic Falls also won a heat of the Illingworth Classic.
Real Caution won a heat and semi-final of the Hobart Maiden Thousand as well as a heat of the GOTBAT series.

Underground won seven, mostly graded events and Black Sienna won the Breeders Classic at Devonport.
But her biggest win came when Dark Vito, that she part-owns with Ian Sewell, won the Group 3 Devonport Cup last month.
