Well bred bitch Carolina filled her book of juvenile wins when she powered her way to an impressive win over 461 metres at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart last Thursday night.
Carolina (Paddy’s Flame-Cash Box) began well from box five and had enough pace to clear the field and from then on it was a procession.
The Julie Bannon-trained bitch went into the race having won her juvenile at Devonport and Launceston.
“Usually the ones that win all three of their juveniles go n and win their way through at least their lower grades and I’m confident this bitch will win more races,” Bannon said.
Carolina was bred by Murray Mace and she is one of a litter of eight.
Mace sent four to Bannon and the other half of the litter to Gary Johnson.
“All but one of the litter has won so it is a fairly talented lot of pups,” Bannon said.
