FORMER 2yo Magic Millions Classic winner Frolicked returned to racing from a spell with an emphatic win in a Benchmark 62 handicap over 1100 metres in Launceston last night.
Having her first start since mid July, Frolicked enjoyed a cozy run behind the leader before being forcing her way out of a pocket on the home turn to go on and score by over a length from Gee Gees Style with Full Magnum over two lengths away third.
The Graeme McCulloch-trained four-year-old mare was heavily backed in from $2.50 to start the $1.90 favourite.
She was having only her 17th start with this her third win and McCulloch is confident she will win more this preparation and over more ground.
Listen to what trainer Graeme McCulloch and apprentice rider Ismail Toker had to say about Frolicked’s first-up win.
