Cointreau Cap (R2) for Invermay trainer Eileen Thomas should make it two wins in a week at Tatterall’s Park tonight.
This son of Premier Fantasy has had just the three starts in Tasmania for two wins and a second here last week to Diavlo.
Jumping from six tonight should not cause any concerns.
Hardest to beat will be first starter Dark Warrior from the strong Medhurst kennel who has been kept safe in the early market while last start Devonport winner Fine Eagle looks next best.
Justin’s Dream (R4) is currently in a purple patch of form for Leith trainer Gary Johnson and although beaten last week by Lozza’s Express he should bounce back here jumping from three.
Lord Monty ran a much improved race last week and will be the hardest to beat while Ascanius is reported to have ability.
Mr. Everywhere (R7) will be each way value in the Invitation and although against tough opposition will be hard to beat.
Best Bets: R2 No 6 Cointreau Cap, R4 No 3 Justin’s Dream, R8 No 4 Olwyn.
Best E/W: R3 No 1 Megalith, R5 No 4 Adelina Pines, R7 No 2 Mr. Everywhere.
