ETFAIR Sweepstakes winner Punt Road Disco is poised to take out the feature two-year-old double following his win in a heat of the Dandy Patch Stakes at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart last night (Sunday).

Punt Road Disco showed good early speed to lead and while he was being hauled in over the final 100 metres he had enough in reserve to holds out the challengers and go on and score by almost two metres from Mister Boswell with Advanced Art just over a metre astern.

Punt Road Disco had a couple of weeks off after winning the Betfair Sweepstakes final and resumed with a second to Tony Macarony.

With Scott Ford in the sulky the son of Real desire-My Charlotte was always travelling like a winner and trainer Nathan Ford said the gelding is better when able to take a sit.
