Dark Warrior (R9) for leading trainer Ted Medhurst looks a special on a ten event card at Tattersall’s Park tonight.
This son of Where’s Pedro is unbeaten in three starts and at his last two at Devonport he has run best of the day times including a terrific 25.59.
At his first start here he beat the consistent Cointreau Cap and although meeting stiff opposition in the likes of Jack O’Riley and the consistent Buckle Up Kade he should prove too quick.
Dilston Nugget (R3) for Dilston trainer Neville Allison is a young pup with potential and although still learning looks well suited jumping from the pink. Enfield Fire and Big Poppy Barry look his main opposition.
The Invitation looks very hard to pick with the Graeme Moate pair of Shanlyn Poh and Shanlyn Peanut up against experienced campaigners November Digger and track record holder Bergermeister and multiples around this quartet should be the way to play.
Best Bets: R6 No 2 Painted Amigo, R9 No 6 Dark Warrior, R11 No 8 Shanlyn Mini.
Best E/W: R2 No 8 Dilston Nugget, R4 No 7 Costa, R8 No 5 Sofia Elise.
