DECIBEL gave his rivals a galloping lesson in Hobart last night when he powered home to win the Remembering Norma Spaulding Grade Four over 340 metres.
The Mick Louth-trained dog left the outside box like a thrush from a bush and when he crossed down to the fence turning for home he sped clear and went on to win by over two lengths from Everywhere with Arthur Pines three lengths away third.
It was an impressive win and one that should encourage connections to pursue more races over the shorter trips.
He is a winner over the 515-metre journey in Launceston recently that shows his versatility.
