Heats of the Easter Cup, Plate and Purse showcase a great night’s greyhound racing at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart tonight.

The Easter Cup heats are the legs of the double and Gary Fahey’s  Martello Towers should be very hard to beat in a tough field.

This son of Bombastic Shiraz has been racing well with a win and a third placing behind Rewind at Devonport at his last two.

Jumping from two should assist this reliable beginner and with Buckle Up Myke inside of Franklin Bluboy he may just hold the lead and be very hard to catch.

Shanlyn Poh is his main opposition while the veteran Katsidis is racing well. Shanlyn Flossy (R8) is looking for win number five in a row and jumping from the inside will give her every chance.

Nicholas Jack is also in a purple patch and will be her main opposition while Tiny Tilly although a tad inconsistent can never be underrated jumping from the pink.

The Easter Purse heats look evenly matched with Sweet Bay (R1), Arnhem Cash (R2) and Gee Whiz Gran (R3) likely to run well. Fine Eagle (R4) and Cruising Bond (R9) look the best in the Easter Plate division.

Best Bets: R4 No 5 Fine Eagle, R7 No 2 Martello Towers, R8 No 1  Shanlyn Flossy.
Best E/W: R2 No 3 Arnhem Cash, R9 No 4 Cruising Bond, R10 No 6 Bastille Border.
