PART time trainer-driver Craig Sweeney celebrated a rare win at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart tonight when his well-bred mare Reason To Dream scored an impressive all-the-way win in a CO over 1609 metres.
Reason To Dream was partnered by Sweeney and once she found the front from gate two she was not troubled to cruise to an emphatic win over Rustler Boy and Mountain Momma.
It was her third win of the season but clearly her most effortless this preparation.
The Dream Away-Scottish Lass four-year-old has started 13 times this season for three wins and six minor placings.
Reason To Dream clocked a mile rate of 2m.0.0.68s and slipped home her last half mile (800m) in a slick 57.68.
