CONNECTIONS of interstate dogs tackling the Launceston Cup series will have the opportunity to race the dogs on then track prior to the heats on February 8.

The Hobart club will be unable to race on February 4 because of the venue being prepared for the Hobart Cup (gallops) on February 8.

The meeting has been transferred to Launceston and club secretary Rick Stamford said the meeting could be useful for interstate invaders.

“The program will boast races suitable for dogs entered for the Launceston Cup so it will be very attractive to interstate owners and trainers,” Stamford said.
