POPULAR apprentice Georgie Catania could be sidelined for up three weeks as a result of a fall at the Devonport Cup meeting last week.

Catania hit the track hard when she fell from Watch Over Me after clipping heels as a result of interference.

She was taken to hospital for observation and released that night but a week after the incident she remains badly bruised and is still suffering from restricted mobility in the neck region.

Catania is in second spot on the apprentices’ premiership table with 18 wins that has her in fifth spot on the overall jockeys’ premiership list.
