THE Tasmanian Racing Appeals Board yesterday dismissed harness reinsman Scott Ford’s appeal against a careless driving charge.
Ford appealed against a two race meeting suspension emanating from interference he caused (AR163(1)(a) in race two at the Tasmanian Pacing Club’s meeting at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart on October 3.
Ford has had a good start to the season notching four wins and nine minor placings from 23 drives with his latest win aboard Harbhajan in Hobart last Sunday night.
Ford had been driving on a stay of proceedings pending the outcome of the appeal; therefore his suspension will expire at midnight on Sunday, 31 October 2010.
