IT took Ronray Bomber no time to settle into Tasmanian racing.
The Bombastic Shiraz-Ronray Lass dog ran third at his Tasmanian debut in Hobart on April 15 against very good opposition.
He backed up last Thursday night with an impressive win over star bitch Topline Doovee in a mixed grades 1-2 over 461 metres.
Topline Doovee began well from box one and despite being momentarily headed by Regent Typhoon (6) nearing the top turn she booted through to hold the lead.
But Ronray Bomber (7) stayed out wide and with his momentum up he powered across to the rails on the home turn and sped clear.
Topline Doovee tried hard to bridge the gap but the former Victorian was too string.
Ronray Bomber, prepared at Moonah by Graeme Moate, hit the line 2-1/2 lengths clear of Topline Doovee with Eagle Eye three lengths astern and just in advance of Regent Typhoon.
