We head to Launceston for a super 11-race card highlighted by the three-year- old Sires Stakes finals.
The Bandbox will be dominated by the brilliant Doug Nettlefold-trained Blame it on Me who will prove too classy for her rivals and stamp herself as the best of her age group. A Spanish Dance and Better Amour are clearly next best.
The Globe Derby Final is a lot more open with four leading chances headed by Micton Mouse who will be looking to add this feature to his Tasmanian Derby win back in March but he will face stiff opposition from the three K’s, Kohanah , Kosimo and Kivik who are more than capable of winning with a bit of luck in running.
The Shirley Martin Mother of Pearl is a very open race with Giftofjoy looking the hardest to beat but it’s a race with many chances.
The Danbury Park Cup rounds out the quartet of feature races with the three leading chances being The Shallows, Ignatius and Call me Hector who are the class runners.
Blame it on Me and Mister Gently are clear standouts on the night but will be very short.
Jakes a Joy looks a good each-way gamble and Cardinal Ringo can give a sight at odds.
