Patrons at tonight’s greyhound meeting in Launceston will be in front before they start with free admission to the course.

Winners also look easy to find so it could be a bonanza for punters on the 10-event program.

Hindsight from the Mick Stringer kennel should get punters of to a great start, although awkwardly drawn he looks above average.  Mauboy from the Ted Medhurst kennel looks the main danger.

Sentry Duty and Orange Boy from the Stringer kennel hold the key to race two.

Yappin’Jack  has a huge future and looks the bet of the night in race eight for Stringer.   All of Stringer’s runners are from the Aston Galilee X  Patsy Anne litter owned by Bill and Anne Witherden at Westbury.

Jack O’Riley has at last drawn a good box and should be too good in race three.

Fair Go, trained by Alison Walker now based at Exeter, looks the one to beat in race five based on his good win at Devonport recently.

The main danger is Matt’s Entity, a winner of the Easter Plate in Hobart last Thursday in brilliant time for Butch Deverell at Penguin.

The value runner tonight is Smiley On Fire.   Trained at Summerhill by veteran Terry Ackerley she has greatly improved since a spell and she should go close in race four.
