Mike Clarke would normally be trying to find a winner with his FORMPLUS Betting Plan on a Monday night, but without a race meeting Mike has looked into the archives to find a standout performance from Launceston greyhounds in what will be a regular piece throughout April.

See Blue’s Girl

In the Breeders Classic Final last week in Launceston, trainer Pat Ryan’s team made up half the field, a terrific achievement. What was more remarkable was the result where Ryan’s four runners filled the first four placings. The quartet are all from the same litter by American sire SH Avatar out of the former Ryan trained bitch, See Blue’s Girl.

See Blue’s Girl was a talented sprinter winning 12 races from 32 career starts and earning over 23k in prizemoney. She was a Group 1 Hobart Thousand Finalist in 2015 and won a heat of the Group 2 Bogie Leigh Futurity at Albion Park. One of her better wins came at Mowbray when she took out a heat of the Group 2 Launceston Cup recording a quick time of 29.61, the third fastest run of the night.
