Monday night at Launceston is an 11 event card with the first of 2 FFA races which is over the 278m journey and as usual there is lots of winning chances, the most prominent seem to be MAVISTA FALLS (box 1), HOWZAT PATSY (box 2), GO MINNIE GO (box 6) and recent addition to the Tasmanian stocks HERE’S ARCHIE (box 8) who recorded fast sectionals at Hobart. Race 4 is the second of the FFA’s and POSH FIRE has drawn his favourite alley (box 1) and after 2 recent wins in under 35.00 he looks the one to beat. LISHEEN (race 6) looks well suited in a race with little early speed to contend with and he gets his chance to break back into the winners circle.
