Galtee win worth the wait for Crosswell

LONGFORD trainer David Crosswell usually has a smart pup in his kennel and the latest to show promise is lightly raced dog Galtee Again that scored an impressive win in Hobart last night.

Galtee Again was forced into a stewards’ trial after suffering an injury at only his second race start at Devonport early this month.

The break appears to have done the dog the world of good as he showed brilliant early speed to lead from box three.

He extended the margin up the home straight to hit the line three lengths clear of the heavily backed favourite Oxidise ($2) with Raw Emotion rattling home at the business end of proceedings to brad third.

Galtee Again (Meticulous-Who’s Girl) is owned and raced by Pat Higgins.
