Trainer Charlie Goggin has been dramatically reducing the size of his stable this past month but one filly that is likely to remain in his care is Feeling Flash that scored an impressive debut win at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart today (Sunday).
Feeling Flash (Talia Rodder) showed good early speed but when unable to cross Artie’s Spur apprentice Rodder opted to camp outside the leader where she parked until entering the home straight.
When Rodder called on the filly for the supreme effort she forged clear and had plenty in reserve to defeat another first starter Bella La Vide by over a length with Artie’s Spur a game third over a length away.
Feeling Flash (Southern Image-Speedy Cat) is owned and raced the Rex Anning Classic Thoroughbreds Syndicate in partnership with Bruce Neill, Tony Shadforth and Michael Kent.
