ONE of last season’s better performed three-year-olds Hellova Street makes his long awaited return to racing in a benchmark 82 handicap over 1000 metres at Tattersall’s Park in Hobart on Saturday.
Hellova Street won three and placed second from his last five starts last preparation and he goes into Saturday’s race with the benefit of a trial in Hobart which he won defeating Simon said Let’s Go and Seven Mile King.
The Scott Brunton-trained gelding is expected to tackle some of the better sprint races this preparation so he should be expected to make an impact at his first outing of the season.
The logical danger is Miss Elsa that defeated Hellova Street last campaign and she was an impressive first-up winner in Hobart followed by a third in Launceston behind Classic Outlaw 10 days ago.
